We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. The ideal candidate must have experience in various caregiving settings, including assisted living, nursing homes, and home health care. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort. Responsibilities • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. • Provide patient care and support in a private residence. • Monitor patients' overall well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate healthcare professionals. • Maintain cleanliness, and organization of living spaces to ensure a safe environment for clients. • Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. • Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, ensuring their needs are met compassionately. • Uphold HIPAA regulations by maintaining confidentiality regarding patient information. Requirements • Must have previous experience in caregiving roles such as home health aide, nursing assistant, or similar positions is required. • Must have previous experience in caregiving for individual children with multiple disabilities. • Must have previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs) and Other Health Impairment, such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), is required. • Must have experience working with children with a speech impairment, such as non-verbal communication. • Must have the ability to communicate in American Sign Language. • Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. • First aid and CPR certification are required. • Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges. • A compassionate, caring, and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
